surfing the amazon
Surfing the Pororoca (the longest wave on earth) a surge of Atlantic Ocean waters that roll up the Amazon twice a year. Freakin’ insane with all that debris, but if you can hack it, that continuous wave looks like a total rush.

norwegian cliff flying
I know this has been making the rounds for awhile, but in case you missed it, you really must watch this. Total. Bad. Ass. (Thanks for reminding me about this Sarah!)

psychedelic

But “when you look down at the ground, it’s like looking up at the sky,” Desjardin said. “Every little ’star’ was a little mushroom–it was just fantastic.”

the big one
How did we miss this? Johnny Depp was a guest character on this episode of Sponge Bob Square Pants. Doesn’t even sound like him.

dream catcher
My mini obsession lately has been different kinds of dream catchers. Just love the idea:
Dream catchers are one of the most fascinating traditions of Native Americans. The traditional dream catcher was intended to protect the sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The positive dreams would slip through the hole in the center of the dream catcher, and glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. The negative dreams would get caught up in the web, and expire when the first rays of the sun struck them.
Recently, I’ve come across some stunning dream catchers made with soaked and twisted branches. I wish I could find a large, hand-made one to hang over my bed.
