Yow! I LOVE the house in the top photo. I wonder if it’s large enough for a 6′ 1″ individual. ;)

Roger Dean (the world-renowned illustrator/architect) has been fiddling with a more austere version of the “Hobbit House” for years, but as far as I know he has never built anything but model homes. Pity.

Very cool, Bob! Hopefully, Dean’s project will one day come to fruition. Some great ideas there – especially the pre-fab modular bit. A large hobbit house with a green roof (and decent light) would most definitely be my dream home. Sort of like a cave house on Santorini, but more woodsy.
