New discovery: Danish DJ, Anders Trentemøller, self-described rock musician turned “electronical” who’s inspired as much by trance, acid, house and jungle beat as he is by Mazzy Star. Listen to his album, The Last Resort, with headphones because his songs are loaded with sonic minutiae. It’s rare to find this kind of delicacy and emotion coming through electronic instrumentation.
